S&P 500 Year End Run

We wrote last week that the market would brush off the topping action and move higher. After a trade truce the market paused the next day. But soon after it continued to new highs.

As long as the Fed keeps pumping money into the system the market can still go higher. I believe they are going to do it through year-end. They may test to pull back after year-end. So near term I would guess through year-end the market can lift.

The Fed's been adding money to the system. Here's some of the prints they did on Thursday.

"New York Fed purchases $7.501 billion in Treasury bills
New York Fed purchases $1.601 billion in Treasury coupons"

The Fed is supporting the repo market. As long as liquidity is coming into the system it's good for supporting yields and stock prices.

So looking for a continued year-end run.
