FANG Stocks

The term FANG was coined by Bob Lang and Jim Cramer in 2013 and was meant as an acronym for the following stocks; Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG). The FANG Stock Index equal weights these four securities from the inception of 2013. Since FANG was coined investors have wanted to add Apple and Microsoft. The FANG index however tracks FANG in its original form capturing the standout growth stocks of the decade.
